Piping/Ductwork

Piping and Ductwork are used to control where the air flow is directed. If the dust collector is the heart of the system, then piping and ductwork are the veins.

The piping layout and design is critical to the installation of your dust collection system. A good piping project starts with a solid design. Every setup is unique to each company therefore there is no simple way to address all of the sizes and concerns that exist. There are several good websites and companies that assist in this department but typically it would be a local mechanical contractor that would handle that portion of the work.

One advantage of having a local contractor do the work, is that they will have the knowledge of local building and fire codes.
