Spark Detection

Spark Detection Units are pieces of equipment that can be configured to detect a spark in the ductwork of a collector and then help suppress the spark before it reaches the filters where a dangerous fire could start. A spark detector can utilize a burst of water or dry chemical to subdue the spark once it is detected. These units can also be used in tandem with abort gates, alarms, and system shutdowns. Spark Detection is useful in any industry that involves high temperature, highly combustible dust, or processes that creates sparks such as grinding and welding.
