The International Woodworking Fair can be a great resource to find new pieces of woodworking machinery. This year, the International Woodworking Fair will take place August 22nd through the 25th at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Over 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers will be at the fair this year. Before you go to the show this year, keep in mind that almost every piece of equipment will need some form of dust collection system.
For example: a molder or a sander can require up to 6,000 CFM on their own. This means that if your shop currently only has a 6,000 CFM dust collection unit, you will be maxed out if this is your only unit, or you will need to rethink your current dust collection setup if you have other machines.
Often times, this consideration of dust collection needs comes a little too late. Some companies will wait to install new pieces of equipment until they are sure there is an adequate dust collection system in place. This causes a delay in usability. Also, in many cases it’ll be stipulated that the warranty will be voided if the machinery is not connected properly.
Don’t worry though, we are here to help! We have several collectors just listed and we’re always just a phone call or email away.
